Ciao ragazzi!

Wow, it’s been a while, huh?

I hope that you’re all doing well and staying safe during this crazy COVID pandemic.

As for me, I’m currently in lockdown in Düsseldorf and decided not to take the risk to travel back home to the states this year due to the severity of the situation.

As travel lovers, I think the best thing we all can do right now is to be grateful for the places we’ve been able to travel to in the past. Let’s remember those special experiences by looking through old pictures or check in with friends and family, wherever in the world they may be.

Something I like to do for instance is print out some of my favorite travel pics and hang them around the house!

Similarly, I would like to share with y’all some pictures I snapped over the past summer in Italy.

Padova

Verona

If you didn’t know, the age-old story of Romeo and Juliet made Verona famous. The site where Romeo is said to have declared his love for Juliet is just outside the city’s main promenade. I didn’t actually see the building, as the line was way too long, but I took this picture ^^^ to prove I was there! 😛

A big shout out to Priya and Pooja, who were so kind to show me around and teach me how to cook amazing dal and aloo masala.😋

I hope we can all resume to normal life and enjoy a gelato or two again soon! Stay safe everyone. <3

An American living and working in Dusseldorf, Germany. If you couldn't tell already, I spend most of my free time cooking, travelling or writing about either of the two. Thanks for stopping by!
